Xenia GROH-HU

Xenia Groh-Hu has been Managing Director of karsten witt musik management since 2011, and has worked as an Artist and Project Manager at the company since it was founded in 2004. Having initially worked on orchestral tours and special projects, she now focuses on conductors, soloists and new music.

Before working at karsten witt musik management, Groh-Hu taught piano at the Purkersdorf Music School near Vienna, realised educational music projects for children, and looked after some music ensembles on her own. In 1999, she founded the Austrian organisation AsianCultureLink to foster cultural exchange between Asia and Europe.

Groh-Hu was born in Zürich and brought up in Taipei and Vienna. She studied Musicology at the University of Vienna, and piano at The Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna. She gives lectures and workshops on Chinese music as well as on music management, with a special focus on coaching activities for young musicians (for example at University Mozarteum Salzburg, Davos Festival Academy, University of Chengdu and Chung Yuan Christian University Taiwan).
