Youri SON

Youri Son is Director of Artistic Planning of the KBS Symphony Orchestra in Seoul. With over two decades of experience in orchestral artistic management, she has played a key role in shaping the orchestra’s programming, international collaborations, and artistic development, overseeing the planning of more than 100 concerts each season.

Through her work with the KBS Symphony Orchestra, she has collaborated closely with distinguished conductors including Myung-Whun Chung, Fabio Luisi, Edo de Waart, Jaap van Zweden, and Leonard Slatkin, gaining extensive insight into orchestral leadership, rehearsal processes, and artistic interpretation. She has also been actively committed to providing performance opportunities for emerging conductors and supporting the development of the next generation of orchestral leaders.

She studied music composition at Yonsei University and later completed a Global MBA at Yonsei University.
